Metron Aviation Appoints Stephanie Fraser as Vice President of Advanced Research and Engineering

DULLES, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/02/09 -- Metron Aviation, a leading provider of advanced research, engineering services and Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) solutions, announces the appointment of Stephanie Fraser as Vice President of Advanced Research and Engineering. Ms. Fraser is a specialist in aviation system performance and has more than 23 years experience in the aviation industry, where she has held senior executive, management, and technical positions at leading companies that serve the FAA.

Ms. Fraser joins Metron Aviation from Flatirons Solutions, where she was Vice President of the Government business unit, responsible for FAA systems engineering, architecture and analytical work, as well as content management programs. At IBM (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers), Ms. Fraser led the team that supported the FAA in aviation system performance measurement and modeling.

"Stephanie brings a wealth of experience in aviation system performance and FAA systems engineering to Metron Aviation. Her knowledge and understanding of the FAA culture, mission and objectives makes her well suited to advance NextGen initiatives," said Dave Ellison, Chief Executive Officer. Prior to PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ms. Fraser managed the Operation Analysis and Strategic Planning group at US Airways where she developed a performance analysis capability, performance improvement, cost-cutting initiatives and the airline's strategy for operations control. Earlier in her career, Ms. Fraser was employed by MITRE Corporation and supported the FAA in developing new operational concepts, improving system performance and making investment decisions.
